Sammy Gary is a Religion MA student studying under B Halpern. Her focus is on ancient Near Eastern mythology, ritual, and iconography, and what such mediums of symbolism can reveal about the conceptual frameworks according to which ancient societies structured their realities, and thus, their societies. Her Master's project aims to examine Mesopotamian, Levantine, Egyptian, and Greek conceptions and depictions of the Beginning and understandings of reality prior to Creation.
