Hisham Qureshi (he/his/him) is a PhD Candidate in Religion and Instructor of Record in the Department of Religion at the University of Georgia.  Though his professional background is in Aerospace Engineering and Global Management Consultancy, his industry experience has led him to appreciate the critical importance of supporting spiritual diversity among our future leaders.  The US and European Patent Boards recognize him as an Inventor of three intellectual patents.  His business development experience spans entities based in North America, Europe, and Asia.  At UGA, Mr. Qureshi's research is focused on understanding how students navigate with their spiritual and religious identities on large public campuses, where separation of church and state is legally required.  He hopes to provide DEI solutions to enhance inclusion and well-being of religious, secular, and spiritual students on large public campuses.  To achieve this objective, he plans to complete his PhD research utilizing sequential mixed methodology.
