Minor Information
To
declare a minor in Religion, go to the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences
office of Student Academic Services Room 152 Memorial Hall and request a form.
Bring the form to the Religion department office (Peabody 206) for approval.

Undergraduate
Requirements
A minor in religion consists of 15 semester hours in religion courses (RELI),
9 hours of which must be numbered 3000 or above, completed with a minimum
grade of "C" in each course. Courses taken to satisfy Core Areas
I through V may not be counted as course work in the minor. Courses taken
in Core Area VI may be counted as course work in the minor.

An undergraduate minor in Religion is good preparation for Law School or Graduate
Study in Archaeology, Classics, Comparative Literature, History, Philosophy,
Political Science, Religion, and Sociology. Career opportunities for a Religion

and religious vocations.
